Senior Sales Consultant – Hematology (Western Canada) Responsibilities Lilly is searching for an experienced Hematology Sales Consultant to launch a new product. This individual is a motivated self-starter, who possesses strong relationships with key cancer centres and thought leaders, especially in Western Canada (BC/AB/SK/MB). The sales consultant is responsible for delivering superior customer experiences by identifying critical needs and delivering solutions at the account, centre, and regional level. This includes shaping the environment to support access to, and use of, Lilly’s Hematology product while collaborating with other Hematology team members. As the successful candidate, you hold deep knowledge of the health care system, regional and national cancer care initiatives, drug access, and therapeutic options. You will identify and develop relationships in key centers with customers such as hematologists, hematologist-oncologist, drug access navigators, nurse educators, and pharmacists. You will interpret data to develop and implement a detailed plan for the territory while identifying specific challenges to deliver solutions that meet business objectives. You will serve as a triage for cross-functional Lilly team including the LillyPlus™ Patient Support Program (PSP), Medical, Patient Access, and Marketing. Responsibilities for this role include: Hematology Expertise Support clinicians and multi-disciplinary team to drive access and appropriate utilization of Lilly Hematology product for patients using the value-based selling framework Provide relevant and timely product information and service Establish a positive reputation for Lilly Hematology Support cross functional team in thought leader planning and engagement for commercial initiatives Customer Experience Develop trusting relationships with thought leaders along with other key stakeholders through digital and in-person channels Conduct assessment of key centres and the market landscape to develop business plans that will support our Hematology strategy Gather insights and leverage sales performance data, formulary considerations, and competitive intelligence to diagnose issues and uncover opportunities Effectively work with external stakeholders and internal cross functional partners while balancing ethical, compliance, and documentation requirements Travel: willing to travel over a large geography (up to 65%) Qualifications and Experience: University degree The ideal candidate should have specialty pharmaceutical sales experience, an understanding of product reimbursement, patient support programs, and account management Pharmaceutical sales experience in a competitive market is a strong asset Established relationships with key oncology centres/clinicians and knowledge in hematology, particularly in the areas of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a strong asset Proven track record as a high performing customer facing professional in a virtual world utilizing digital tools Experience working with and effectively engaging thought leaders and other external stakeholders Strong business acumen to identify opportunities through data and insights and plan solutions Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills Strong teamwork skills Ability to work in complex and dynamic environment, manage time and competing priorities Additional Information Lilly will conduct, at its own expense, background search (including verification of educational credentials, contacting three of your personal references) of the successful candidate.
