We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Consultant to join our team, with awesome travel and tourism industry knowledge and exceptional customer service skills.
What does the Role looks like?

SALES EXPERIENCE:

Taking ownership of the complete process from promptly answering an enquiry, creating relevant detailed itineraries and proposals whilst working to specific time frames deemed to ensure best chance of converting a sale.
Ensuring individual sales targets are achieved each month
Ensuring that all KPIs are met by effectively managing sell prices, margins, conversion, and processing to ensure profitable margins
In Country Customer Experience
Ensure a clear and positive process is in place for both customers and the IAT team to resolve issues
Management of disruptions that will or may impact customers.
Proactive and professional communication to advise clients of disruptions and address their concerns.
Business & Company Support
Lead by example and ensure the company best practice and values are front of mind
Have a strong understanding of finance best practice especially around cancellations and refunds
Ensure the Office environment is welcoming, friendly and running efficiently.
Mentoring and Coaching Sales Team members
Providing coaching, feedback and mentoring to more junior sales team members.
Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
Support to People Leaders
Provide additional support to People Leaders which may include but not limited to covering People Leader’s leave and managing team meetings as required.
Requirements
3-5 years experience in the Travel Industry
Genuine passion for sharing and creating unique Australia travel experiences.
KPI’s: Proven ability to meet and surpass sales targets and meet deadlines
Previous experience mentoring, guiding and coaching others.
Exceptional value-based sales professional with proven customer-focused track record.
Excellent Customer service focus with the drive and skills to deliver the best experience to our customers, including responsiveness to issues or complaints.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive team player who is eager to learn
