Responsibilities:

The Retail Senior Sales Development Manager is a key strategic position responsible for developing, managing, and nurturing commercial partnerships within the retail sector.
You’ll work closely with key external partners and internal teams to drive growth, enhance product distribution, and maximise profitability.

This role involves creating long-term relationships with retail partners while ensuring alignment with overall business goals, objectives, and brand strategies.

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and establish mutually beneficial partnerships with retail partners to expand brand presence and drive revenue.
  • Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned retail partners, managing relationships and resolving any operational or strategic issues.
  • Growth and Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with retail partners to set sales and performance targets. Regularly review performance data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to boost sales and profitability.
  • Product and Promotion Planning: Work with the marketing and product teams to create tailored promotional strategies and merchandising plans that align with both brand and retail partner goals.
  • Market Insights: Analyse market trends and competitor activity to provide insights and recommendations for retail partnership strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership plans and deliver optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Track key performance metrics, prepare regular reports for leadership, and ensure that all retail agreements are adhered to and deadlines met.
