Job Description Rotork is seeking a technically strong, commercially driven Senior Sales Engineer to accelerate our growth across the UK Chemical, Process & Industrial (CPI) markets. This is a high‑impact, customer‑facing role focused on major critical HVAC, tunnel ventilation, and data‑centre cooling projects. You will play a key part in influencing specifications and positioning Rotork as the preferred partner for electric actuation, gear solutions and instrumentation. Working closely with the UK CPI Sales Manager, you’ll join a collaborative team that partners with regional sales, product management and senior leadership to deliver aligned strategy, coordinated customer engagement and successful execution of growth initiatives. In this role, you’ll drive growth across key CPI segments by identifying and developing major project opportunities, influencing specifications early and positioning Rotork as the preferred technical partner. You’ll build strong relationships with OEMs, EPCs, contractors and end users, while working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions and support high‑quality presentations, technical discussions and commercial negotiations. The successful Candidate Proven business development and technical sales experience, ideally within flow control, actuation or related industrial technologies. Strong technical understanding of flow‑control solutions and the ability to translate customer needs into engineered proposals. A relationship‑builder who can influence at all levels and deliver customer‑focused outcomes. Strategic, proactive and self‑driven mindset with the confidence to lead high‑value opportunities. Excellent written communication and strong presentation skills.
