Job Role The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, ensuring smooth coordination between the company and project sites, and achieving sales targets. This role involves promoting and selling the company’s products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to overall business growth. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Sales Opportunity Monitor upcoming government tenders and identify relevant opportunities. Track, record, and approach companies/customers who are awarded government tenders and pitch the company’s products. 2. Lead Generation & Project Requirement Analysis Conduct regular field visits to identify business opportunities, present product catalogs, and provide business cards to initiate and nurture business relationships. Follow up regularly with the customer for project updates and timelines. Collect drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and technical specifications and verify if our company’s products meet the specifications. Check technical standards, certification needs, and product compliance, and assess inventory availability. 3. Quotation & Submittal Process Upon receiving an inquiry, prepare quotations based on requirements and company pricing strategy. Verify and document payment and delivery terms and conditions. Follow up on submitted quotes and handle negotiations as needed. Prepare and provide technical submittals. Follow up on submittal approval status with customers. 4. Order Management & Coordination Receive and process purchase orders in the ERP system from customers. Coordinate with the warehouse and client for delivery arrangements. 5. Invoicing & Payment Follow-Up Prepare and submit invoices to the customers. Follow up with the Accounts team and clients on payment status and collection. 6. After-Sales Support & Training Provide product demonstrations or training to customers if needed. Offer support in resolving any issues related to old stock, delays, or technical mismatches. Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and service. 7. Sales Reporting & Target Achievement Monitor and ensure achievement of sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis. Maintain organized records of all interactions, submissions, follow-ups, and deliveries.
