We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Executive to lead and inspire our sales initiatives, with a primary and strategic emphasis on the IT managed services industry. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute sales strategies tailored not only to traditional managed services but also to our company’s core offerings in cybersecurity and compliance. You will oversee high-value accounts, cultivate long-term partnerships with clients seeking comprehensive IT solutions, and ensure our growth across both established and emerging service areas.
As our sales success grows, you will participate in the creation and development of a dynamic new sales team. This includes helping to recruit top talent with expertise in IT managed services, cybersecurity, and compliance, as well as fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. You will establish clear sales objectives, provide ongoing training and mentorship, and implement performance metrics to drive success. By building a strong and motivated team, you will position the company to capitalize on market opportunities and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively pursue new business opportunities in managed services, cybersecurity, and compliance offerings through cold calls, networking, market research, and leveraging modern CRM solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Key Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with strategic clients to maximize satisfaction and retention.
  • Industry Event Participation: Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and monitor market trends.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Market Insights: Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
  • Sales Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing sales team, focused on managed services, cybersecurity, and compliance.
  • Sales Leadership: Motivate the team, set clear goals, and ensure successful execution of sales initiatives.
  • Vendor Management: Identify top tier vendors for potential partnerships for sales and marketing colaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise: Clear understanding of the IT Managed Services industry, along with a wide range of solutions found within MSP and MSSP portfolios.
  • Extensive Sales Track Record: Proven experience in outside sales with a strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including proven management of high-value, complex accounts.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop sales teams to achieve results.
  • Strategic Mindset: Deep experience in designing and executing advanced sales strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Exceptional Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and negotiations, with the ability to close deals successfully.
  • Analytical & Tech-Savvy: Strong analytical skills, expertise with CRM software such as Microsoft Dynamics, and sales analytics tools.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related is highly preferred.
