REQUIRED SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS, AND MINDSET:

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B technology solutions sales experience, ideally in a new business-focused role.
  • Entrepreneurial, highly competitive, and results-driven with a hunter mentality.
  • Expert in consultative, value-based selling approaches.
  • Fluent in MEDICC, MEDPICC, BANT or other structured qualification methodologies.
  • Able to engage and influence multiple stakeholder types across departments.

  • Strategic in planning, prioritisation, and territory/account development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Technically comfortable discussing networks, systems integrations, and platform functionality.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

  • Sales experience in the hotel or hospitality technology sector.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a proven and driven New Business Sales Executive with a strong entrepreneurial mindset to join our team. This quota-carrying role focuses on acquiring new business by promoting and positioning IMS connects’ Guest Technology Solutions portfolio to the hospitality sector in Ireland and UK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New Business Development:
  • Proactively identify and win new business opportunities within the hotel and serviced accommodation sector.
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of opportunities using both self-generated and marketing-supported leads.
  • Manage deals through medium-to-long sales cycles (3–6 months) with persistence and structured follow-up.
  • Use qualification frameworks such as MEDICC, MEDPICC, or BANT to validate opportunities.
  • Solution Selling:
  • Effectively position the value of the IMS connect guest technology portfolio to decision-makers and influencers.
  • Tailor proposals and sales messaging to the priorities of stakeholders in IT, operations, finance, procurement, and general management.
  • Deliver persuasive, value-based proposals and presentations to win competitive deals.
  • Market Insight & Strategic Input:
  • Stay current on hospitality tech trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
  • Share actionable insights with internal stakeholders to enhance product positioning and sales strategy.
  • Reporting & CRM:
  • Ensure accurate opportunity tracking, activity logging, and forecasting using CRM systems.
  • Regularly report on pipeline health, key sales metrics, and forecast performance.
