Job Description
As a Senior Sales Executive, you are responsible for delivering market-leading solutions while ensuring superior service and results for your designated agency and client group. You will be a leader on the sales floor, establishing strong internal relationships and continuously developing and maintaining strong relationships with key agencies across all relevant functions and clients.
You will work within a fast-paced, high-performing, and energetic sales team that pushes boundaries and leads the media industry.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of media experience, preferably within Sales.
- A minimum of two years as a Sales Executive at Nine or equivalent elsewhere.
- Proven ability to manage all areas outlined in the job description.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and account management skills.
- Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and accurate forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills to understand revenue trends and influence sales strategies.
- Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to varying group sizes.
- Demonstrated thought leadership, proactively contributing to the sales floor and beyond.
- Proven people management experience, including the successful onboarding and development of support staff into sales executives
Responsibilities:
- Manage a pipeline of briefs and proactive ideas to meet and exceed revenue targets, while accurately forecasting revenue to the business.
- Understand and communicate Nine’s products and USPs relevant to your channel, ensuring you educate clients and drive product sales effectively.
- Understand Nine’s wider products across channels and their roles, staying knowledgeable about the full breadth of our offerings.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of Nine’s digital products and stay up-to-date with innovations and capabilities.
- Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate across departments to deliver leading solutions for partners.
- Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders within agencies, representing the Nine brand in the market.
- Stay informed on media industry trends, buying models, and competitive landscapes, sharing relevant insights and information with the sales team and internal stakeholders.
- Create market-leading responses and solutions for clients, delivering strategies that reflect a deep understanding of client needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities for team revenue growth and new business from lapsed or new clients.
- Perform GBM tasks as needed when required or in the absence of a GBM, including Weekly Team Forecasting, Weekly Summary, Quarterly Business Plans, and revenue gap planning.
