Description

Hi, we’re TechnologyAdvice.
At TechnologyAdvice, we pride ourselves on helping B2B tech buyers manage the complexity and risk of the buying process. We are a trusted source of information for tech buyers, delivering advice and facilitating connections between our buyers and the world’s leading sellers of business technology.
Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, we are a remote-first company with more than 20 digital publications and over 500 global team members in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. We’re proud to have been repeatedly recognized as one of America’s fastest growing private companies by Inc., as well as a Tennessee top workplace. We work hard each day and have fun, too, with monthly virtual events, recreational slack channels, and the occasional costumed dance from our CEO.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Raconteur, now a part of TechnologyAdvice, is seeking an experienced salesperson to pitch and sell fully integrated print and digital solutions to clients and create long-term commercial partnerships with leading B2B brands.
Owning the entire sales process, you will engage senior decision-makers in discussion, gain a deep understanding of their challenges and pitch relevant solutions from Raconteur’s suite of marketing services products. These include B2B special interest print reports in The Times, digital content hubs, insights reports, research and roundtables, as well as a range of digital content and demand-generation solutions.
While you will be expected to own your sales targets, you will receive exceptional support from Raconteur’s senior leadership, branded content, marketing, data, editorial and design teams. As such, an ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across the business will be key. The right candidate will need a proven track record in winning new business and growing existing accounts. They will also need to demonstrate experience in selling complex solutions to enterprise clients and consistently beating sales targets. Internally the title for this role is Campaign Director, and will be reporting to the Commercial Director.
Location: United Kingdom, Hybrid in our central London office on Thursdays.

Responsibilities
  • Identify revenue opportunities from new business and existing account conversations, and sell appropriate integrated solutions from our suite of products, with a particular emphasis on our HR solution providers.
  • Grow client accounts from £20k-£50k to £250k+ annual revenue.
  • Prospect effectively, organising your time, and deliver credible and memorable sales pitches to new prospects and existing contacts to achieve sales targets.
  • Use strong research skills to identify trends and unique ideas that can be used in sales pitches.
  • Working closely with our commercial content team to ensure best-in-class delivery that leads to repeat business
