ZEOS by Zalando is our logistic division which is currently offering to our partners: Zalando Fulfilment Solutions (ZFS), Zalando Shipping Solutions (ZSS), Zalando Returns Solutions (ZRS) and Multi-Channel Fulfilment (MCF).
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager to join our contract and digital logistics sales efforts. This role is critical in driving business growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strong commercial proposals, and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics sales, strong P&L understanding, and experience in building logistics solutions.

The Role of the Senior Sales Manager is:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies for a key set of global prospect accounts to achieve revenue and growth targets in the contract and digital logistics sector.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prospecting and Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leading negotiations and closing deals with potential clients.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and timely closure of sales opportunities ultimately progressing to signed contracts.
- Solution Development: Lead the qualification, proposal, negotiation, and conclusion of sales opportunities, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Handover to Key Account Management: Effectively transition new clients to the key account management team, ensuring continuity and long-term success.
