The Senior Sales Manager at Orient Express Sailing is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading the development and execution of Orient Express’s commercial strategy across the region. Acting as the primary contact for key accounts and strategic partners, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion across Sailing Yachts in alignment with the Orient Express’s global objectives. This position involves defining and implementing action plans aligned with objectives and strategies, advising on tactical activities, and overseeing various aspects of sales management. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Market Development Lead the development and execution of the Americas sales strategy, ensuring full alignment with Orient Express’s global commercial vision and objectives. Manage strategic accounts and key partners across Americas, driving long-term relationships and maximizing revenue potential. Partner with the Accor Global Sales team to support execution of sales initiatives. Drive revenue growth by identifying regional opportunities and maximizing cross-selling across verticals. Develop and implement strategies to attract and convert UHNWIs through targeted networking and relationship-building. Represent Orient Express at industry events, tradeshows, and key client engagements in Americas. Provide timely insights on regional market trends, account performance, and emerging opportunities. Collaboration & Alignment Act as the Americas liaison, ensuring regional market activities are aligned with the Orient Express global sales strategy. Collaborate closely with the Accor Global Sales team to coordinate joint initiatives, leverage client networks, and provide updates on regional performance. Partner directly with asset teams (Sailing Yachts, Italy Trains & Hotels) to support market-specific sales plans and account development. Serve as a key voice for the Americas market, providing client feedback and insights to inform strategy. B2B Marketing & Strategic Partnerships Partner with global sales team and Orient Express marketing team to align regional B2B marketing efforts with overarching global campaigns and key sponsorships. Identify and nurture strategic partnerships across Americas to enhance brand positioning and create new revenue opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or related field. 6-8 years of experience in luxury travel luxury hospitality, or experiential travel sales. Strong understanding of the Americas luxury travel market and trends. Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and supporting revenue growth. Strong network within luxury travel and lifestyle segments. Understanding of UHNW clients and their expectations. Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work closely with global teams while managing regional priorities. Analytical and strategic mindset, capable of translating market data into actionable growth initiatives. Willingness to travel within Americas as needed.
