Description

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven ability as a “Hunter” and “Closer”
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in sales and account management, specializing in complex banking, core banking, or payment solutions within the MENA region
  • A successful track record of closing sales in core banking and/or payment solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of and strong network within the MENA banking and financial sector
  • Strong business acumen in banking and payment solutions
  • Ability to manage complex sales processes and major strategic accounts
  • Experience in senior-level sales, building executive relationships, and opportunity planning
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Expert negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Fluent in English (mandatory), Arabic language skills are highly preferred
Responsibilities
  • Proactively network, engage, identify, and close sales opportunities
  • Establish strong relationships with senior decision-makers in banks and financial institutions across MENA
  • Meet sales objectives by engaging potential clients to sell banking and payments software, as well as related services as needed
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships within the banking sector
  • Develop insights and strategies for successful sales campaigns in competitive bid scenarios
  • Own and implement plans to expand the client base within the banking and financial services sector
  • Identify key market opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline and meet annual sales targets
  • Provide accurate forecasts for short, medium, and long-term sales cycles
  • Participate in regional and global sales reporting, projections, and pipeline management
