Overview:
The Senior Sales Manager position will be responsible for managing medium-to-large Public Sector Organisations & Medium to Large Enterprises in Saudi Arabia to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals. The Senior Sales Manager must understand the overall business of the clients in his/her territory and should be able to position IDC & its value adds to cater to client’s business objectives. He will also follow the go-to-market strategy in conjunction with the goals and objectives of the region.
This is a hybrid role, requiring time on site at our Riyadh office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • English & Arabic Language Proficiency - Written & Spoken.
  • Must have a strong understanding and overview of ICT market.
  • Strong understanding of the Public Sector & Technology providers ecosystem in KSA.
  • A university degree in marketing or business studies or equivalent in years of experience.
  • Relevant Consultative Selling & Solution-selling experience.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Ability to interact with any level within an organization.
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsibilities
  • Individually contributing to the sales revenue for the Saudi Arabia region via identifying and prospecting new business as well as keeping existing clients engaged.
  • Handling a mix of hunting & farming business: this ratio would be around 70% hunting and business development and around 30% farming the existing accounts.
  • Organizing and driving face-to-face and/or virtual meetings with existing and potential customers to sell IDC Services (mainly Research & Data and to a lesser degree Consulting and Events) to cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Initiating and coordinating development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Providing timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin markets.
  • Customizing proposals based on customer requirements with the support of team members through existing PowerPoint templates.
  • Accurately reporting the sales pipeline in the CRM and local market intel/inputs to grow the business based on trends and requirements.
