Job Summary
The Business Development Officer is responsible for generating new business opportunities for manpower supply, outsourcing, recruitment, and staffing services. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying market opportunities, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within construction, manufacturing, logistics, retail, hospitality, FMCG, healthcare, and other sectors.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research.
- Arrange client meetings and presentations to promote the company’s manpower and outsourcing services.
- Prepare and submit commercial proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with recruitment and operations teams to ensure timely deployment of manpower.
- Monitor contract renewals and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Stay updated on labor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports and sales forecasts.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, recruitment, or manpower outsourcing services.
- Experience in the manpower supply or staffing industry is preferred.
- Valid driving license preferred.
