To develop future strategic direction growth proposals. To lead a team (of 2 now) to deliver the current and future growth. To grow the dealers’ network and manage their performance to attain targeted results. To work closely with other brands under MK umbrella to maximize MK market share in Korea. To ensure full compliance. To develop a culture that aligns with MillerKnoll Values. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A list of essential job duties or responsibilities that is critical to the successful performance of the job. The list should contain no more than eight to ten accountabilities beginning with the most important and continuing down in order of significance. Develop a comprehensive annual plan to grow the businesses and achieve required levels of operating income. Take personal accountability for its success. Develop and lead the Contract Sales Team. Motivate and inspire team members and drive the team to ensure the appropriate resources and assets are deployed to fulfil the plan. Manage both the top and bottom lines for the business. Ensure there are always readiness plans available to deal with market turmoil and manage down the cost base in difficult times. Leverage the MK Group companies to ensure that we maximize opportunities for growth whilst maintaining market independence as appropriate Constantly scan the competitive environment for both opportunities and threats. Be aware of competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and ensure the appropriate responding actions are implemented. Keep abreast of market dynamics in the markets through personal observation, professional data input and attendance at cross business networking groups. Grow dealers’ network and manage their performance, strategically guide them and collaborate with them to achieve a win-win outcome for both parties’ benefits As a member of the APMEA Leadership team, participate in the creation of the overall strategic plans for regional business and work cross functionally with colleagues to ensure that the right actions are taken to realize those plans. Act as a leader of the business and as a role model for others. Inspire the employees to achieve outstanding results and remove obstacles to their success. Be prepared to take the difficult decisions around performance issues while always treating others with dignity and respect. Grow customer relationships at different levels, Ensure we are operating in line with corporate policies and procedures, as well as legal compliance across the region. Develop new corporate accounts, manage and develop relationships with end customer at different levels and ensure good control over the accounts developed for MK OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB INFORMATION: Three to four sentences that summarize any other pertinent information regarding the position. Responsibilities
