SUMMARY OF THE ROLE This role is responsible for driving project sales growth, strengthening relationships with key industry players, and developing a high-performing projects team in line with Jotun’s Leadership Expectations. You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence by promoting innovative decorative and flooring solutions to deliver sustainable growth and profitability. This role will be based in Malaysia and reporting to General Sales Manager – Decorative. Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and develop the Malaysia & Singapore Decorative Projects team, ensuring clear objectives, strong motivation, and high performance. Drive the launch and promotion of new and improved project products, including Jotafloor solutions. Manage and track nationwide project pipelines, ensuring effective follow-up and conversion. Build and strengthen relationships with main contractors, developers, architects, consultants, and specifiers through specification support and joint customer visits. Represent Jotun Decorative at regional project meetings and industry engagements. Plan, monitor, and achieve sales targets, collections, and DSO, in line with company objectives. Conduct regular performance reviews, monthly meetings, KPI tracking, and annual appraisals. Coordinate with Regional and Local Marketing teams on product launches, paint schools, exhibitions, brand-building, and promotional activities. Oversee technical service and colour studio performance to ensure timely delivery, proper site inspections, and compliance with specifications. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to strengthen Jotun’s position in the projects segment. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Fluent in English both spoken and written.
