We want to grow the Lenovo business within in the Public Sector in Germany & Austria – Grow with us!
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sr. Sales Manager Public Sector – Region South.
You will be managing the Public sales teams for the South region. In this position you have a strong alignment with the Inside Sales Manager and a clear vision of Lenovo unit strategies. As manager you will provide guidance to employees and counsel the managed team of Public Managers.
You will be reporting to the One Lenovo Public Sales Leader.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage, lead and encourage the Public Sales team
  • Support the customer relationship, primarily through the F2F Sales
  • Maintain relationship to involved business partners
  • Support cluster planning process and public specific requirements (account planning, opportunity identification)
  • Responsibility for demand planning, outlook forecast planning and taking care of the reporting in appropriate tools
  • Drive a healthy commit culture for weekly reporting and forecasting
  • Guide, motivate, develop and retain the team in times of change
  • Act as internal communicator and build up a strong internal interlock

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • 7-9+ years of sales experience with minimum 3 years management, preferably in solution business
  • Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment
  • Professional knowledge of business acumen, including an understanding of the customers business, industry, economic trends, issues and competition in a global view, especially in the public sector
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales processes and sales management techniques
  • Experience in managing and motivating a diverse, high-performing sales team both virtual & remote, and you are also familiar with managing in a matrix environment
  • Set clear performance standards, provide straightforward feedback in a respectful way
  • Good verbal and written communication in German and English language
  • This position can be located in Stuttgart or in a home office location in south germany
