We’re shaping the future of textile automation For more info visit: https://www.staubli.com/en-in/ Job Description DESIGNATION/ TITLE - Senior Sales Manager – Textile REPORTING TO - Managing Director- India LOCATION - Mumbai JOB OBJECTIVE - Lead the textile sales function, drive revenue growth, manage customer relationships, guide the sales team, and achieve market‑share targets & are willing to travel extensively. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Roles and Responsibilities: The job encompasses but is not limited to the following Roles and Responsibilities: Manage and develop existing Customer relationships, sales leads, and projects. Create and implement a sales development plan for the relevant geographic area and generate new business. Coordinate with the Sales Team on a regular basis. Update all Sales activities in the Company CRM system in a timely and accurate manner Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base in the assigned region. Conduct market research to understand competitor activities, industry trends, and customer requirements. Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely communication, support, and resolution of queries. Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for management review. Participate in exhibitions, industry events, and customer visits to enhance brand visibility. Collaborate with technical teams to provide product demonstrations and application support where required. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 12+ years of experience in Textile Sales (Weaving background preferred) Qualifications QUALIFICATION Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology / Manufacturing COMPETENCIES Technical Strong technical knowledge of textile machinery (mechanical & electrical). Deep understanding of weaving processes, velvet & carpet weaving preferred. Ability to evaluate KPIs & market trends accurately. Expertise in techno‑commercial negotiation & sales strategy. Proficiency in CRM & sales reporting tools. Behavioral Excellent leadership & team‑management skills Strong communication & presentation abilities.
