Description
This role is responsible for both proactive new business development and strategic account management in Japan either directly or managing channel partners. The successful candidate will handle a mix of repeat-order products (e.g., IS, IN, Surge protector) and long-lead, consultative sales projects (e.g., HMI, CCTV). The role requires a balance of efficient follow-up on existing demand and persistent engagement in complex, multiple sales approach, patience and ability to build long-term trust with customers. Develop, adapt and execute a tailored strategic growth plan for each account. Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment. Manage repeat-order products such as IS, IN, Surge with efficiency, while maintaining proactive follow-up to secure ongoing business. Lead long-term, consultative sales efforts for complex solutions such as HMI and CCTV systems. Engage in multiple discussions and negotiations over extended periods. Build trust-based relationships with customers to ensure deep understanding of needs and priorities. Track key projects to ensure strategic alignment and monitor competitors and market trends to maintain visibility of market share and take appropriate actions. Ensure compliance with all ethical standards, health and safety policies, and promote these values within customer engagements and internal operations. Bachelor degree or above 5 years plus experience working as sales in industrial/electrical market. Basic technical and electrical knowledge. If possible, experience working with harsh and hazardous process control, HMI, networking, telecoms or fire and gas markets. Proficient in business English and Japanese.
