As a Senior Sales and Service Training Consultant at Halfords, you’ll be at the heart of developing and inspiring our people to deliver world-class customer service and drive high-performance sales. You’ll design, deliver, and evaluate engaging training programs that equip our colleagues with the tools, confidence, and behaviours they need to exceed expectations on the shop floor and beyond.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop engaging training programs that enhance sales techniques, customer service excellence, and product knowledge.
  • Lead and manage large scale learning projects that deliver impact and business outcomes.
  • Deliver interactive training sessions to new starters and current employees, both in-person and virtually.
  • Evaluate the impact of training through assessments, colleague feedback, and performance metrics, adjusting content as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Group Head of Skills Development and key stakeholders to identify training needs and align with business goals.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to reinforce learning and promote a culture of continuous development.
  • Create and manage up-to-date training materials, guides, and resources to support all learning initiatives.
  • Compile and present regular reports on training delivery, effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement to senior leadership.
