QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to support the mission, vision, and values of the CRCNA.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Flows, including complex automation and orchestration.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex code, including triggers, classes, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Proven experience with integration tools, preferably Make.com.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of technical professionals.
  • Excellent training skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required.
  • Significant experience as a Salesforce Administrator is required.
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will play a critical leadership role within the IT department, overseeing the strategic development, implementation, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform and related integrations. This position will lead a team of Salesforce Administrators, acting as a key trainer for both the team and organization. Overall, this role will ensure the effective utilization of Salesforce to support the mission and operational needs of the CRCNA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate performance for a team of Salesforce Administrators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Contribute to the professional development of team members through coaching, training, and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the CRCNA’s Salesforce platform, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise.
  • Develop and maintain custom Apex code, triggers, classes, and components as needed.
  • Manage user roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures.
  • Design and maintain complex automation and integration workflows to streamline business processes.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and work with relevant teams to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Manage the organization’s Salesforce backup and recovery strategy.
  • Ensure data privacy and security per organizational policies and relevant regulations.
  • Design, configure, and implement Salesforce solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their data and reporting needs, translating them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead Salesforce-related projects from initiation to completion.
  • Prioritize and manage a backlog of Salesforce enhancements and support requests.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations, processes, and integrations.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective training materials and sessions for Salesforce users across the organization, catering to various technical skill levels.
  • Interact with Salesforce and other relevant vendors as needed.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and make recommendations for platform enhancements.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Information Technology Director.
