About the job: The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Senior Salesforce Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will have excellent communication skills and technical expertise and provide best practice recommendations for integration and application development, deployment, and iterative refinement. You’ll work actively as a part of a scrum team to complete configuration and development as well as define end to end process implementation strategies. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you’ll have high visibility within IT and our business stakeholder teams. What you will do? Serve as the primary point of contact for supported business systems, and perform functional and second-level technical support as needed Responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by proactively managing issues throughout the ticket lifecycle, ensuring high customer satisfaction Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, VisualForce, and Lightning components Work within Salesforce customization standards for Administrators and Developers to balance between rapid development and long-term code maintainability. Participate in reviewing, debugging, and resolving issues with new or existing code. As part of the ticket investigation, perform troubleshooting, log questions or suggestions in the ticketing system, and document testing performed, results, issue recreation, and the next planned steps. Interpret and refine business requirements and user stories Write and update knowledge base documentation ensuring that our Customers and IT Teams have the most up-to-date information Evaluate new Salesforce releases and applications and remain current with Salesforce administration best practices What you will bring? 5+ years of experience implementing SFDC CRM capabilities. Advanced proficiency in Salesforce development tools, such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architectures, data models, and best practices. Ability to work on your own and manage multiple task assignments Solid verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Background in Experience Cloud (PRM) / Consulting Cloud(Certinia) is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
