JOB DESCRIPTION

The Candidate will be part of the CPA IT Treasury & Education team, responsible for creating and maintaining public and internal Salesforce applications. The role involves highly advanced analytical and development work, providing technical expertise in design discussions and peer reviews. The Candidate will support the design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of projects using the Salesforce.com toolset and contribute to improving applications and development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Salesforce analysis and development services.
• Take ownership of reported issues and complete assigned tasks efficiently, reporting progress to the Salesforce Manager.
• Analyze and maintain Salesforce user authentication and security architecture.
• Design, code, and document application links, content, and components.
• Document coding and configuration procedures.
• Work with business units, application teams, and infrastructure to identify and evaluate solution requirements.
• Collaborate with internal users and clients in an Agile environment to evaluate business needs, analyze processes, and document the Salesforce solution.
• Identify problems and propose solutions.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Participate in development planning and scheduling.
• Prepare charts, diagrams, and tables describing systems in terms of cost, benefits, and processes.
• Provide functional and technical expertise for Salesforce applications.

Minimum Requirements:

• 7 years (Required): Experience as a software developer/engineer on multiple lifecycle implementations of large-scale ERP IT applications.
• 6 years (Required): Experience in Salesforce, Apex, and JavaScript.
• 6 years (Required): Experience in Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration (custom objects, Lightning pages, Apex, reports, workflows, and assignment rules).
• 6 years (Required): Experience developing software solutions using Salesforce.com API framework and 3rd party APIs.
• 6 years (Required): Experience developing test scenarios and test scripts, performing unit and system testing, and documenting results.
• 4 years (Required): Experience with highly complex application security requirements and designing/supporting systems meeting information protection and security standards.
• 2 years (Required): Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
• 1 year (Required): Experience serving in a senior development role on at least one full lifecycle implementation of Salesforce.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years (Preferred): Experience mentoring technical resources.
• 5 years (Preferred): Experience establishing, documenting, and communicating standards, best practices, and system recommendations.
• 5 years (Preferred): UI/UX design experience.
• 3 years (Preferred): Experience working and communicating effectively across multiple technical groups.
• 2 years (Preferred): Experience with MuleSoft.
• 1 year (Preferred): Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Dataloader, and software ticketing systems.
• 1 year (Preferred): Public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local government).
• 1 year (Preferred): Salesforce Admin certification.
