Summary The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable Salesforce solutions that support business growth across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, with exposure to other Salesforce products as needed. This role partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative configurations. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role, requiring a developer who can contribute to solution design, participate in discussions, and work effectively within a tight-knit Agile team. The ideal candidate balances strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. This is a remote, short-term 4-month project, with potential for extension or contract to hire. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud Develop and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes (Future, Queueable) Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWCs) using JavaScript and Apex to improve UI/UX and functionality Configure and automate Salesforce using Flows, validation rules, record types, custom objects, and page layouts Contribute to both declarative (30–50%) and programmatic development efforts Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and web services Develop and execute unit and integration tests, ensuring code quality and platform stability Implement and manage Salesforce security model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, OWD, sharing rules) Support data migration and updates using tools such as Data Loader and Workbench Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Participate in client-facing discussions, providing input on solution design and technical feasibility Support code promotion and deployments using tools such as Gearset, Git, and CI/CD pipelines Maintain detailed time tracking and documentation aligned to project requirements Required Experience Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to engage in client-facing conversations 5–8+ years of Salesforce development experience (flexible based on skill level) Strong expertise in: Apex (classes, triggers, batch, asynchronous processing) Lightning Web Components (LWC) Salesforce Flows and declarative automation Hands-on experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud Experience with API integrations and web services Solid understanding of: Salesforce data model and architecture Governor limits and best practices Experience with Salesforce security model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, sharing) Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Ability to balance technical development with solution-oriented thinking Preferred Experience Salesforce certifications (SCA, and Platform Developer I/II) are highly desired Experience in a consulting or professional services environment Exposure to MuleSoft or integration platforms Experience with DevOps tools (Gearset, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) Familiarity with Salesforce Experience Cloud sites, portals, and CMS Exposure to other Salesforce Clouds Experience with GenAI / AI-driven tools within Salesforce ecosystem Prior experience working on large-scale migrations or multi-brand implementations Location This is a remote, short-term 4-month project, with potential for extension or contract to hire.
