SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with additional experience in Experience Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud preferred. This is a hands-on development role where you will design, build, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions that support mission-critical business operations in the Veteran Benefits space. You will actively contribute code, configure complex integrations, and collaborate with other Salesforce developers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, user-centered CRM experiences. In addition to development, you will play a key role in architectural decision-making, mentoring peers, and shaping the overall Salesforce strategy.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

You will be a key contributor in enhancing and extending our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security across multiple business functions. This role requires close collaboration with other Salesforce developers, Product, and IT stakeholders to deliver robust solutions. Projects will primarily focus on Sales and Service Clouds, with opportunities to extend functionality into Experience Cloud and, where applicable, Marketing Cloud. You will help deliver solutions that improve internal workflows, enhance client engagement, and drive organizational growth.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS OR COMPETENCIES:

  • 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, with deep expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Experience Cloud (preferred).
  • Exposure to Marketing Cloud (preferred).
  • Expertise in Salesforce Data Model, Role Hierarchy, and Sharing Rules.
  • Experience building Integrations via REST APIs.
  • Experience using ETL tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gearset, Copado, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Mulesoft or other middleware tools.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives and mentor others without direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Healthcare or HIPAA-compliant environment experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM workflows and client lifecycle management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Salesforce Developer and/or Architect certifications required (e.g., Platform Developer II, Application Architect).
  • Additional certifications in Experience Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including enterprise-scale systems.
