JOB OVERVIEW:

A Salesforce System Administrator is responsible for managing user accounts, configuring and customizing the platform, ensuring data integrity, and implementing security measures. They provide technical support, conduct training sessions, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the system for business needs. Additionally, they stay current with Salesforce updates and continuously enhance the platform to improve business processes.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve complex issues, including troubleshooting Apex code and using debugging tools to identify root causes of bugs in configurations or integrations.
  • Understanding Business Processes: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and optimize complex business workflows, ensuring that Salesforce aligns with organizational goals.
  • Customization & Configuration: Customize Salesforce to meet business requirements, including creating and updating objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validation rules.
  • Automation: Implement and manage advanced process automation using Flow, Process Builder, Approval Processes, and other automation tools.
  • Incident & Change Management: Adhere to and promote best practices for incident and change management to ensure smooth platform operations and compliance.
  • Data Management: Oversee data quality, implement best practices for data hygiene, and perform data imports, exports, and manipulation as needed.
  • Impact Analysis: Assess the impact of proposed changes on configuration, automation, integrations, and business workflows to ensure minimal disruption to end users.
  • Mentorship & Team Support: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to teammates, fostering skill development and enhancing overall team effectiveness.
  • Integrations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect Salesforce with other business systems using integration tools and third-party applications.
  • Compliance & Security: Maintain system security protocols, ensure data compliance with regulatory requirements, and uphold ITGC controls.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Salesforce releases and industry best practices, recommending new features and functionalities to enhance the platform.
