Sandvik SMR IT is Business Area Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions’ (SMR) internal organization responsible for applications, databases, cloud services and in management of IT both in terms of our internal IT production, external suppliers, and managed services. SMR IT, Delivery area R&D is a group of global experts working closely together with Sandvik Business Areas in their PLM applications and R&D Related IT Solutions.
We are now now searching for a SAP Developer to be located in Tampere Finland. An ideal candidate will have a Senior SAP Development Lead background combined with experience managing big teams, technical queries, quality of deliverables from teams and proven skills with handling multiple tasks technically and governance.
About the job
In Senior SAP Developer role, you will be part of Sandvik’s In-house expert SAP Development team and to independently lead Development teams of partners/vendors. This would include oversight of build and maintenance of ABAP Developments in scope for SAP S/4 Hana implementation, quality, improvements. You are responsible in maintaining the quality of S/4HANA solution across landscape, Review of the Technical design for WRICEFs by the Implementation Team and ensure best practices for development are followed and are aligned latest SAP recommendations for S/4HANA Implementations. Background and implementation experience of building and maintenance of WRICEFs with SAP S/4HANA are key requirement for the role with excellent skills. This role will involve working with several 3rd party service providers throughout programme lifecycle and post go-live.
