As a Senior SAP EWM Consultant, your role encompasses an array of responsibilities crucial to the seamless functioning of supply chain operations. Your primary tasks involve optimising clients warehouse operations by leading the deployment of SAP EWM solutions, offering insightful consulting to both internal and external stakeholders on warehouse management processes and in integrating EWM with other SAP modules and associated technologies. Your expertise extends to warehouse processes, system design, configuration, and deployment, facilitating end-to-end supply chain transactions within SAP environments and supervision of an implementation team. In joining the team you will play an instrumental part in building FourPL’s Logistics Execution consulting practice.

PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 7 years of SAP experience in SAP Logistics Modules
• Degree for ANSCO 261112
• At least 5 full cycle of end-to-end SAP EWM implementation experience
• Clear understanding of warehouse operational business processes, including sales order and purchase order management, ATP, complex batch determination, delivery, complex picking, put-away and replenishment strategies, packing, dispatching and inventory management and optimization.
• Ability to influence others to adopt best practices in warehousing operations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Exposure to other logistics and supply chain processes, such as transportation planning and execution is a bonus
• Exposure to template development and roll-out is a bonus
• Exposure to SAP WM and MM modules a bonus

The Senior Consultant role will include the ability to support a range of engagements through the consulting lifecycle including:

• Engaging with Customers to understand and determine their objectives for improvement and optimisation of logistics operations
• Articulating requirements and potential solutions to achieve these objectives
• Analysing requirements and give advice on use of systems according to project objectives
• Lead System design, configuration, and development of end-to-end supply chain transactions in SAP
• As applicable, coordinate, direct and oversee work done by Consultants/Jr. Consultants
• Providing support to FourPL Principals and Program & Project Managers with regards to project scoping, resourcing, reporting, prioritization, progress, and Issue/Risk resolution
• Ensuring documentation of best practices, case studies and lessons learned on a client engagement
• Providing technical and functional expertise as required to customers during the engagement
• Identifying potential clients and building and maintaining positive relationships with existing and potential Customers
• Providing after sales support as required
• Conduct interviews with client management to gain an understanding of client business conditions, risks and controls (including preparation of interview notes).
• Identify, develop and document issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.
