THE ROLE

Zalando is seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our ERP Record to Report Tech. In this role, you will take ownership of the Record to Report (R2R) process within SAP FI, while also supporting and collaborating on the Procure to Pay (P2P) and Order to Cash (O2C) process areas. You’ll help shape scalable financial solutions that support Zalando’s fast-paced and data-driven business environment.

WHAT WE’​D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

You are Responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FI solutions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR).
You are Responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FI solutions, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Transfer Pricing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
Gather and analyze business requirements from finance and accounting stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications and system configuration.
Provide functional expertise and collaborate on cross-functional processes involving P2P and O2C , working with MM and SD integration points.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and functional specifications.
Perform gap analysis between as-is and to-be processes and recommend SAP best practices
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and implement innovative finance solutions.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, financial reporting, and audit requirements.
Having Basic ABAP knowledge will be preferred.

You process incidents and other requests from your stakeholders and continuously monitor and maintain the system
