About The Role
We are currently seeking a Senior SAP Functional Analyst - Finance to join our internal IT team.
The Senior SAP Functional SME will play a pivotal role in partnering with business stakeholders to manage and enhance the SAP S/4HANA environment, with a focus on SAP Finance. This role involves overseeing the SAP change and enhancement pipeline, providing quality assurance and oversight to the BAU support stream, and contributing to the functional roadmap.
The SME will also act as a system gatekeeper for SAP-related changes, provide functional support and design, support SAP security design within their functional space and assist in troubleshooting technical issues. We are open to location of this role, we have offices in Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane. Travel to regional offices and mine sites will be required.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the SAP change and enhancement pipeline, ensuring timely and effective delivery of solutions
  • Collaborate with respective stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into SAP Finance solutions
  • Assist in the design and implementation of SAP security measures within the functional space
  • Apply knowledge of SAP Concur to manage travel and expense processes effectively
  • Provide QA and oversight to the BAU support stream, ensuring high standards of service delivery

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP functional roles, with at least 3-5 years in S/4HANA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules.
  • Strong understanding of SAP change management and enhancement processes.
  • Experience with SAP security design and implementation
  • Experience with Ariba Business Network, SAP Concur and SAP Analytic cloud
  • Willingness to travel to regional offices and mine sites as needed
