Position Summary Tryton TC is seeking a Senior SAP Functional Specialist with deep functional expertise across Plan to Manufacture (PTM), Record to Report (RTR), Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role drives cross functional SAP and non SAP initiatives, including integration, optimization, digital transformation, and enterprise level planning. Experience supporting Mergers and Acquisitions, including system integrations, carve outs, and process harmonization, is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can translate business needs into scalable solutions across manufacturing, finance, and planning teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead full lifecycle implementations and optimization for PTM, RTR, and IBP including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post go live support. • Serve as the functional lead for PTM focused on production planning, shop floor activities, and manufacturing analytics. • Support RTR functions including general ledger, asset accounting, controlling, compliance, and close processes. • Drive IBP adoption including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization. • Partner with business teams to uncover pain points and improvement opportunities across PTM, RTR, and IBP. • Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP functional designs. • Support Mergers and Acquisitions including integrations, data migration, and process alignment across new or divested entities. • Architect and implement solutions within SAP BTP including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and Data Intelligence. • Ensure connectivity between SAP and non SAP systems including MES, CRM, and financial platforms. • Partner with infrastructure and development teams to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of BTP based solutions. • Work with data governance and BI teams to maintain accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across domains. • Support reporting and analytics initiatives using Power BI. • Contribute to predictive modeling and scenario planning for strategic decision making. • Support enterprise programs including digital transformation and non SAP platform initiatives. • Provide functional and technical support for Microsoft Suite tools and third party applications. • Act as a liaison between IT and business units to drive user adoption and ensure solution alignment. • Lead or support cross functional teams delivering enterprise scale initiatives across SAP and non SAP environments. • Maintain documentation including process maps, training materials, and system specifications. • Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and training events. • Lead change management for new tools, technologies, and processes. • Ensure solutions follow governance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for reliability and user experience. • Stay current with SAP and non SAP technology trends. Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum 7 years of hands on SAP functional experience with strong expertise in PTM, RTR, IBP, and SAP BTP. Proven success delivering complex SAP initiatives across manufacturing, finance, and planning. Experience supporting Mergers and Acquisitions, including integration and data migration, is strongly preferred. Experience using Power BI for reporting and analytics. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated success with cross platform integration and enterprise architecture. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. SAP certifications in PTM, RTR, IBP, or BTP are a plus.
