Job Title: Senior SAP Project Manager Location: Washington, D.C. Job Purpose The primary purpose of this role is to lead complex SAP implementations, including greenfield, brownfield, and transformation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and high-quality outcomes. The Senior SAP Project Manager will oversee planning, execution, risk management, and quality assurance throughout the lifecycle, applying both Agile (SAP Activate) and ASAP methodologies to optimize results and maximize business value. Key Responsibilities Implementation Leadership: Drive the successful delivery of SAP implementations, upgrades, and rollouts while meeting schedule, budget, and quality targets. Planning & Monitoring: Develop, maintain, and track detailed schedules and timelines, ensuring alignment with baseline plans. Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, manage expenditures, and oversee closure activities to ensure accurate financial accounting. Methodology Application: Apply Agile practices, including SAP Activate, alongside ASAP principles to ensure efficient and effective delivery. Risk & Issue Management: Maintain a comprehensive Risks and Issues Log, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality checks and reviews to ensure high standards and minimal errors. Scope Management: Track scope changes and obtain necessary approvals for Requests for Change (RFCs). Tools & Reporting: Utilize and, when necessary, create project tracking tools and reporting mechanisms to support efficient execution. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 10 years of SAP experience, including at least 5 years in a SAP leadership or management role. Proven experience with greenfield, brownfield, and transformation SAP initiatives. Hands-on experience in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, with at least two full-cycle implementations. Proficiency in Agile methodology (SAP Activate) and ASAP methodology. Strong ability to manage medium- to high-complexity SAP initiatives while adhering to standard processes and tools. Skilled in using project management and tracking tools, with the ability to create new mechanisms as needed.
