ABOUT THE ROLE

• We’re looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA Consultant/Developer to bridge business needs with SAP technical solutions. This client-facing role involves leading solution design, development, and modernization initiatives on SAP S/4HANA while advising on clean-core practices, extensibility, and transformation strategies. The role requires strong ABAP/S4HANA expertise, client consulting skills, and the ability to guide teams on SAP best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Act as a trusted advisor for clients, bridging business needs and SAP S/4HANA technical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into SAP S/4HANA design specifications and oversee development execution.
• Lead solution architecture discussions, advising clients on clean-core principles, extensibility models (Key User, On-Stack, Side-by-Side on BTP), and S/4HANA simplifications.
• Drive end-to-end SAP development workstreams, including technical design, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Provide strategic consulting on SAP modernization, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Engage stakeholders with technical presentations, demos, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment of SAP solutions with business objectives.
• Oversee legacy ECC-to-S/4HANA code migration, ensuring compliance with SAP standards and performance optimization.
• Mentor developers and guide cross-functional teams on SAP best practices.
• Stay current with SAP innovations (RAP, Fiori Elements, BTP services) and proactively recommend enhancements.Qualifications
• Experience: 8–15 years in SAP ABAP development, including 5+ years in S/4HANA implementations and upgrades.

• Strong ABAP/OOP ABAP development with CDS, RAP, AMDP, and OData services.

• Hands-on experience integrating SAP with CRM, ERP, and third-party systems via APIs and middleware.
• Understanding of SAP Fiori and UX design principles.

• Ability to run fit-gap workshops, advise on extensibility vs. customization, and articulate tradeoffs.

• Strong communication skills to present technical concepts to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership & Strategy: Proven track record in leading SAP development teams, driving process improvement, and influencing technology roadmaps.
• Cloud & BTP: Experience with SAP BTP for extensibility, side-by-side applications, and cloud-ready development.

THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS:

100,000 - 140,000 USD per year(Remote (United States)
