Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior SAP TM Consultant to join a global SAP S/4HANA transformation program for a leading international client. The role is based onsite in Switzerland and focuses on the implementation and optimization of SAP Transportation Management (TM) across multiple business units. The ideal candidate brings deep module expertise, process know-how, and hands-on experience in complex international project environments. Frame Conditions: Contract Type: Freelance / Contract Location: Switzerland / Onsite Start Date: ASAP Duration: Typically 6-12 months with extension options Language: English Tasks Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for transportation planning, execution, and freight settlement Translate business requirements into scalable SAP TM solutions Conduct fit-gap analyses and contribute to global process harmonization Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure smooth module and system integration (e.g. EWM, SD, MM) Support interface and data flow design with external systems and logistics partners Lead or support workshops, training sessions, and documentation Support testing activities including integration and user acceptance tests (UAT) Troubleshoot and resolve SAP TM issues Provide go-live support Requirements 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM), ideally in global SAP transformation programs Deep SAP TM module know-how Deep expertise in TM process areas such as transportation planning, execution, freight units, and charge management Basic customizing knowledge within the TM module is a plus Familiarity with logistics-related modules (EWM, SD, MM) Experience in regulated industries (e.g. pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices) Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, international teams Fluent in English (German not required)

Responsibilities
