Job Description The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and assuring high-quality integrated schedules for complex programmes or portfolios, while also leading and managing a team of schedulers to drive consistency, accuracy, and best practice. Key Responsibilities Develop and own master schedules, ensuring alignment across programmes, dependencies, and milestones Provide schedule analysis, forecasting, and insight to support decision-making at senior level Lead, coach, and performance-manage schedulers, setting clear standards and priorities Establish scheduling governance, methodologies, and quality assurance processes Identify and manage schedule risks, critical paths, and impacts to delivery Act as the subject matter expert for planning and scheduling tools and techniques Skills & Experience Significant experience in programme or portfolio scheduling within complex environments Proven experience managing or leading planning/scheduling teams Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate clearly to senior stakeholders Advanced proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent) Additional Information Benefits include: Pension scheme (8% company contribution / 4% personal contribution) 25 days’ paid annual leave + bank holidays + option to buy or sell days Professional fees reimbursed Flexible working Employee referral scheme We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
