Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist (Scheduler) in St. Inigoes, MD. The Senior Scheduler will work with various project teams to maintain program and project schedules.

Job duties include the following essential functions:

  • Support project management teams and lead(s) to develop project/program scheduling documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to support scheduling tasks.
  • Analyze and coordinate schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis.
  • Develop and integrate master plans and schedules on DoD programs.
  • Provide critical path analysis accounting for dependencies, activity durations, and float/slack.
  • Ability to identify and advise the project lead(s) on matters affecting project success, schedule, and cost impacts, and develop project recovery plans when needed.
  • Ability to proactively identify project risk, issues, and/or opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate issues and/or realize opportunities as appropriate.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor degree in related field preferred; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of related experience (7 years without degree)
  • 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Project
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance
    Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors
