Senior Scheduler – Construction & Technology Projects
Location: Atlanta, GA (On-Site)
Compensation: $165,000 – $200,000 base salary + Full Benefits
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scheduler to support large-scale data center and mission-critical projects in Atlanta. This role is client-facing and offers the opportunity to lead complex scheduling efforts in fast-paced environments where precision and proactive planning are essential.
The successful candidate may come from either a construction or a technology company background, provided they bring strong scheduling expertise and experience working on complex, phased projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Establish and manage baseline schedules that align with phased delivery and fast-track execution models.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments and “what-if” scenarios to evaluate the impact of design changes, procurement delays, or field issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, design teams, procurement, and field staff to ensure accuracy and integration of schedules.
  • Track and report on critical and near-critical activities, identifying delays and recommending recovery strategies.
  • Manage commissioning and phased turnovers, ensuring proper coordination of MEP, IT, and specialty systems.
  • Lead and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  • Present schedule updates and performance reviews during executive-level business reviews with client stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Must be based in Atlanta, GA with the ability to be onsite up to 5 days/week.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction scheduling, project controls, or project management with exposure to data center or mission-critical environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project (expert level) and working knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Strong knowledge of work breakdown structures (WBS), logic sequencing, resource loading, and baselining.
  • Ability to interface with diverse stakeholders and lead coordination/recovery planning meetings.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to represent the team in a client-facing role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of mission-critical or data center scheduling experience.
  • Background with either general contractors or major technology companies involved in large-scale project delivery.
  • Track record of successfully leading phased scheduling strategies and risk mitigation plans.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $165,000 – $200,000 (depending on experience).
