Full-Time, Permanent

COMMENCING SEPTEMBER 2025

An exciting opportunity exists at The Country Day School (CDS) for an experienced teacher to join our Outdoor Education and Science departments. The successful candidate will have a university degree in a related field and certification to teach in Ontario. We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and versatile teacher who is passionate about outdoor education and its teaching applications in courses like Grade 9 Green Industries, Grade 11 Outdoor Education, Grade 11 Environmental Science and Grade 12 Resource Management. In addition to this teaching complement, our new OE teacher will have the opportunity to facilitate learning extensions for senior level students on our 100-acre property and to plan and lead a variety of outdoor experiential learning trips throughout the year. Previous outdoor education experience and wilderness first-aid training are preferred.

CDS is committed to Supporting, Knowing and Inspiring each of its learners. In addition to an individual who possesses authentic love for the natural environment and all it has to offer, both inside and outside of the classroom, we are seeking a teacher whose practice embodies our principles of an expert teacher:
