Responsibilities

The Method Validation Scientist is responsible for the design, execution, and documentation of analytical method validations in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal quality systems. This role ensures that all laboratory methods used for testing and analysis are scientifically sound, robust, and compliant with relevant regulatory requirements:

  • Develop, plan, and execute method validation protocols for new and existing analytical methods
  • Perform method transfer, verification, and qualification activities across laboratories and/or manufacturing sites
  • Prepare and review validation protocols, summary reports, SOPs, and technical documentation
  • Perform troubleshooting and optimisation of analytical methods where required
  • Participate in audits and provide support during regulatory inspections
  • Maintain accurate records, data integrity, and compliance with laboratory standards
  • Provide technical support and training to junior analysts where appropriate
