Your role: As a Senior Scientist in Applications Chromatography R&D, you will play a crucial role in advancing our chromatography product developments, particularly in the area of antibody purification. Your expertise will guide product development teams, ensuring that our scientific advancements are effectively translated into market-ready products. You will independently plan, design, and conduct experiments, meticulously analyzing results and documenting findings to meet industry standards and quality assurance. Engaging with customers and cross-functional teams, you will identify their needs and challenges, leveraging market trends to inform product strategies. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior personnel, fostering a diverse learning culture within the team. Embracing an agile mindset, you will adapt to evolving project needs while driving product adoption through data-driven insights. Who you are: You hold a Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field or an M.Sc. with over 5 years of experience. You possess extensive hands-on experience in antibody purification, downstream processing, and biophysical/analytical characterization. You demonstrate strong project management skills, effectively establishing new workflows while managing time and resources. You are proficient in DoE/statistical analysis tools such as JMP, MODDE, or Tableau. You have a strong commercial acumen that allows you to connect scientific data with product development strategies. You exhibit excellent documentation skills, producing high-quality outputs that robustly support customer needs. You are an effective communicator, capable of collaborating in a team-oriented environment. Preferred qualifications include experience with automation systems for high-throughput screening (HTS) and skills in Python programming for mechanistic modeling and machine learning.
