The Institute of Public Health, Medical Decision Making and Health Technology Assessment (Chair: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Uwe Siebert) of the Department of Public Health, Health Services Research and Health Technology Assessment is currently seeking to fill the following part-time or full-time (20-40 hours per week) position as soon as possible (place of work: Hall i.T.):
Senior Scientist / Assistant Professorin the field of Health Technology Assessment
The position is assigned to EU projects in the field of Health Technology Assessment, including EUCAPA ((), EUCanScreen and other research projects in the subject area and is initially limited to two years. An extension is possible and will be sought.
Responsibilities:
- coordination of the Program on Health Technology Assessment at the Institute
- coordination and development of research proposals and projects in the field of Health Technology Assessment
- representation of our university in the field of Health Technology Assessment regionally, nationally, and internationally
- participation in national and international research projects in the areas of Health Technology Assessment at the Institute
- independent development of research ideas, studies, and methodological approaches in the field of Health Technology Assessment
- preparation of Health Technology Assessment reports
- advising the team on the content of Health Technology Assessment
- preparation of scientific publications
- collaboration in the preparation of third-party funding applications
- participation in the organization and implementation of teaching in the field of Health Technology Assessment and associated disciplines, in the areas of Public Health, the UMIT TIROL Academy Program and in further training measures
- active (further) development of the capacity training for patient representatives EUCAPA
- development of modern university didactic methods, pedagogical concepts, and dissemination strategies
