Qualifications in Computer Science or related disciplines.
Preferably at least 2 – 4 years of relevant industry and/or research experience in at least one of the following areas – Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Immersive Media, etc.
Possess experience in working in technical project teams.
Experience with Python, C/C++, Java or any other relevant programming language.
Possess working experience in conceptualizing and submitting research proposals (e.g. to secure research grants) and presentation of research concepts.
Analytical and meticulous individual who is able to think strategically to align with TP and national agenda in technical research.
People-oriented individual who possesses strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
Strong interest in applied research and development.
Willingness to participate in research projects in one or more of the following technology areas – Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Immersive Media, etc.
Work independently or with other researchers, developers and students to fulfil project deliverables.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand user requirements and devise possible solutions.
Supervise students for their final year projects.
Perform lecturing and tutoring duties for courses related to research areas.
Conceptualise, prepare and submit research proposals to secure grants from TP and national funding schemes (e.g. MOE-TIF and NRF).Oversee awarded industry and funded projects and ensure key milestones and project deliverables are met.
