Description
Duty / Accountability 1    Planning and Execution a) S&OP and Forecasting Process Management: Lead the establishment, optimization, and operational execution of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Design and improve relevant processes and procedures for demand forecasting and planning to enhance forecast accuracy.  b) MRP Implementation and Optimization: Take full responsibility for the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system. Ensure the accuracy of data used in MRP runs, including BOM, inventory, work orders, etc., and periodically review and adjust MRP parameters. c) New Product Introduction Support: Deeply participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, taking charge of feasibility assessments and resource coordination from the planning perspective. Coordinate the planning transition between the NPI phase and the mass production phase to avoid material obsolescence or shortages. 2    Inventory management a)    Control inventory at appropriate levels to meet target customer service levels and achieve inventory-related financial objectives. This includes setting reasonable safety stock and maximum inventory thresholds based on demand volatility and lead time changes, regularly monitoring inventory turnover and availability rates. b)    Drive the reduction of CAT C / slow-moving items through classification management and data-driven action plans. Identify non-moving or slow-moving SKUs via ABC analysis, coordinate with sales and product teams to implement clearance strategies. c)    Establish a phase-out product management process to ensure smooth end-of-life transitions without material obsolescence or revenue loss. This involves early identification of phase-out candidates, coordination among planning, purchasing, and production teams to align last-time-buy and last-time-build schedules. d)    d) Consignment Inventory Management: Assess the actual needs and feasibility of implementing a consignment inventory model for key accounts. Establish a monitoring mechanism for consignment inventory, periodically analyze its effectiveness. 3    Business operations a)    Fully understand China Strategy and mid-term plan, and ensure the strategy is translated into the appropriate supply chain responses. b)    Must-win projects management, including but are not limited to:1) Build up the multi-functional front warehouse; 2) Establish and implement a distributor inventory management system; 3) Support project HOYA PLUS ecosphere; 4) Support project Sales Coverage. c)    Contribute to business results improvements through cross functional collaboration and partnership with internal and external stakeholders. 4    Team management a)    include cross culture and remoted located employees, towards hire, train, motivate, coach, as well as promote a diverse professional workforce to support organization goals. b)    Develops the China planning team tactics, goals, KPIs and completed on time and under budget.   JOB REQUIREMENTS 1,University graduate or equivalent discipline, APICS supply chain preferred 2,S&OP, demand planning in manufacturing 5 years. 3,Supply planning and supplier management 5 years. 4,Proficient in ERP, experience of ERP system go live preferred. 5,Lens industry background preferred. 6,Working knowledge of all facets of the planning function (S&OP, new product development planning, demand planning, supply planning, replenishment planning, manufacturing etc.) 7,Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written 8,People management 3 years and projects management 3 years   HOYA Group: Founded in 1941 in Tokyo, Japan, HOYA Corporation is a global technology and med-tech company and a leading supplier of innovative high-tech and medical products.
