Subsea7 are looking for a Senior SCM Specialist (Electrical) to join the Dubai office on a staff basis. This role is responsible for managing the procurement of engineered electrical materials and services for oil & gas projects, ensuring delivery meets technical, safety, budgetary, and scheduling requirements. Aramco experience is essential for topside electrical works. The position supports both local and global SCM strategies, drives continuous improvement, and promotes a strong HSEQ and ethical compliance culture within Subsea 7.

WHAT EXPERIENCE WOULD WE LIKE YOU TO HAVE?

  • Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Business), or qualified by experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, including vendor qualification, issuing RFQs and POs, PO follow-up, and close-out.
  • Aramco experience required for topside equipment such as switchgear, batteries, MCCs, transformers, electrical cables, power panels, lighting, cable glands, ICCP systems, and electrical consumables.
  • Not responsible for resolving technical issues (handled by the Technical Owner), but must be able to follow technical discussions and assess potential commercial or schedule impacts.
  • Cost-conscious and confident in challenging requests where appropriate.
  • Strong understanding of the offshore industry and its complexities, particularly with specialised equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player
