Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an energetic, motivated and hands-on Scrum Master to join an agile Program. This position is for an experienced candidate to coordinate the delivery of our end-to-end in-house built applications in a fast-paced environment. The Scrum Master will act as the advocate for the delivery process and an Agile coach. They will work to remove any impediments that can derail the team and enable the radiation of information both within the team and with its stakeholders. The ideal candidate will work with multiple teams leveraging their vast Agile experience to look for ways to continuously improve the delivery process.

JOB DUTIES IN BRIEF:

  • You will lead daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos, and sprint/release planning
  • You will work closely with product owner and the scrum team to develop and maintain a project story map that defines the minimum viable product
  • You will measure and continuously improve our processes, with a focus on time delivery and quality
  • Maintain Agile priciples and mentor others to understand and follow them
  • You possess experience working with teams using continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing
  • You will utilize your strong coaching and mentorship skills in order to build a collaborative, productive, and engaged team environment
  • You will anticipate and address impediments to delivery
  • You may need to manage/engage expectations of Senior Management and provide weekly status reports
  • You will need to manage/mitigate risks and/or cross-project dependencies (Scrum of Scrums)
  • You will help break down organizational silos and promote collaboration
