The Position: The division requires one Senior SDET, who possess excellent communication skills and some professional testing experience. The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Lahore office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing across multiple platforms. Proven expertise in building automation frameworks from scratch, with a strong understanding of automation architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Strong programming skills in Java or C#, including experience with .NET technologies for developing scalable test automation solutions. Hands-on experience across all automation layers, including Unit, API, and UI, ensuring full test coverage and quality assurance. Extensive UI test automation experience using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and modern test frameworks. Hands-on experience in API automation using RestSharp, Postman, or similar tools, along with solid knowledge of API contract validation. Deep understanding of RESTful services, API testing methodologies, and debugging techniques. Working knowledge of SQL for database validations, data integrity checks, and back-end testing. Experience working with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented automation scripts and technical documentation. Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate with global teams. Responsibilities
