INTRODUCTION

Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking a Senior Section 508 Compliance Tester to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Section 508 Compliance Testers are responsible for planning, creating, and executing a comprehensive range of both manual and automated tests on systems and web applications through close collaboration with mission area stakeholders, development teams, and program managers. Assists development team with software development lifecycle. Support maintaining test plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs), reviewing accessibility requirements and all supporting documentation for the section 508 compliance team. Assists in creating strategies to help maximize successful adoption and integration with agency efforts. Additionally, may support development of change deliverables and documentation that enables successful transition within the agency stakeholders, customers, and end users. Tracks weekly progress, produce reports and monitors metrics. Provides inputs to contract deliverables and assists with creation of the Activity Report.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

It is required that the Senior Section 508 Compliance Tester have the following qualifications:

• BA/BS.
• Five (5) or more years of hands-on experience in test automation, including extensive experience in digital accessibility.
• Secret clearance.
• Ability to complete Section 508 compliance testing with minimal oversight.
• Experience with WCAG 2.0 A/AA standards.
• Strong understanding with Automated Test Tools, such as ANDI and JAWS.
• Experience completing manual testing and regression testing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience briefing senior government leadership.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• DHS Trusted Tester Version 5 Certification.
• Experience using IT Service Management Platforms (i.e. ServiceNow).
  Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

  Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site
