Hiring in Texas only, San Antonio area preferred. What you'll get to do: Responsible for the development and delivery of comprehensive, bank-wide information security program. Coordinates efforts with the Bank’s designated Information Security Officer to enforce sound security policies and procedures. Analyzes, logs, tracks, and responds to security related events reported by third-party solutions. Configure security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommends enhancements to current security plan, program, and guidelines. Coordinate vulnerability scans, assessments, and administrative reports as outlined in security plan and program. Manage all third-party vendors related to security. Install, administer, and troubleshoot security parameters and solutions leveraged by the bank. Manage user security and access controls to review privileged levels of access and changes to the technology environment for risk. Maintain incident response procedures, assists IT in threat mitigation, and provides detailed reports for information security breaches and or security related investigations. Assist in Bank annual security training efforts Prepare annual risk assessments, and security reports for management and Board. Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in computer science or security Professional certifications such as CCNA, Comp TIA Sec +, SSCP, MTA Security Fundamentals highly desired 3+ years information security related experience, preferably in a financial setting Thorough knowledge of Network and Host Intrusion Detection Systems / Intrusion Prevention Systems, and Internetworking Security Technologies & Methodologies. Working knowledge of MS Active Directory, Domain Architectures, LAN/WAN protocols and hardware including NetBIOS, TCP/IP, SNA, bridges, routers, DSU, firewalls, internet/extranet (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP).
