SUMMARY:

The Senior Security Architect is a member of the Information Security Team. The Senior Security Architect works cross-functionally to clearly establish the cyber security value and benefits, deliverable security objectives and needs and strives for harmonization of compliance and security activities across business processes groups and departments by propagating common standardized approaches that are in line with IT strategies.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with project management platforms (DevOps), 3-4 years
  • Experience working with security tools, 3-4 years
  • Experience with requirements management software solutions, 3-4 years
  • Familiarity with current cloud/web-based technologies and infrastructure (e.g. Google collaboration suite, Document management platforms, etc.)
  • Previous experience in technology or education industry a plus
    Preferred Experience Requirements:

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate cross team work sessions with key project stakeholders and SMEs to elicit, analyze, prioritize, validate, manage, and track the creation of cyber security functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Identify key solution dependencies
  • Work with key stakeholders and Program Managers to establish write, define, and track Minimum Viable Product (MVP) requirements and create phased implementation of Cyber Security capability and service requirements
  • Define and prioritize transition requirements needed from the organization to successfully move from the current state to the desired state. (e.g., Test, Move to Production, End user training etc.)
  • Establish Requirements traceability to organize, document and track requirements from initial idea to testing
  • Translate functional/non-functional requirements into Test requirements and plan
  • Establish and manage cyber security requirements monitoring and tracking solution
  • Implement change management process to ensure changes to functional/non-functional requirements are appropriately managed
  • Assist Project Managers and functional leaders define, prioritize, and manage delivery expectations and scope.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, Business Quality, IT Security, Risk, Quality and Process etc., to ensure that the applicable regulations, guidelines and internal procedures related to validation of computer systems and associated infrastructure are followed and applied during all stages of the defined software development life cycle (SDLC), project phase activities and audit and documentation management.
  • Work with team to deliver qualification and validation deliverables, such as validation protocols, data migration plan and summary, etc., for new functionality, enhancements, maintenance releases and periodic reviews for project implementation and maintenance.
  • Analyze the validation impact of changes through risk assessment and helps in formulating the validation strategy for changes to existing or new computer systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide consultation and business analysis on multiple cyber security data analytics projects of varying duration, size, and complexity
  • Elicit, translate and simplify requirements, decompose high-level business and user requirements for data and business intelligence solutions into well-written User Stories
  • Analyze and validate business systems data
  • Document technical requirements and business / technical process flows
  • Rationalize requirements against design system guidelines and web application best practices
  • Document and organize acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing in partnership with Business Analysts, Product Designers and Quality Assurance Engineers
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, and the software development or information technology teams
  • Guide technical teams when needed
  • Participate in all phases of the development life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, build, test, implementation and continuous service
  • Be self-supportive in collaborating with peers to effectively deliver a robust solution for the business
