As Business Security Advisor for the Business Security Advisory team, you will be joining our Group Cyber Securty Office. Technology is vital to Ahold Delhaize and its entire family of brands. As our Business Security Advisor within the Ahold Delhaize Group, you become an important part of the Global Information Security Advisory Department. There you will work as a Domain Security Officer at Albert Heijn, Etos or Gall & Gall under the banner Ahold Delhaize. You make sure our customers get an optimal and smooth customer experience in our stores and online, whilst safeguarding their data and our systems. You will also work on groundbreaking, innovative services such as our online shopping experience, mechanization of our distribution centers and in-store innovations, such as securing the hardware for our tap-to-go service.

Key responsibilities of your role
Your role is highly diverse and encompasses various responsibilities. Here are the key ones:

As Senior Security Engineer / Advisor, make an impact at Ahold Delhaize by:

• Advising on innovative security solutions for Albert Heijn and our global organization
• Advising on the centralization of our security controls
• Working closely with our other Security Experts of the Global Cyber Security Teams
• Conducting and facilitating security reviews
• Being the First Point of Contact for almost all security-related topics. The platform security consultant will act as the conduit to expertise available within the ISO (Information Security Office) team
• Formally assessing information security risks related to solution / business projects, determine the potential impact of those risks, and conduct follow-up, throughout the project lifecycle, on any necessary remediation efforts
• Working hand in hand with DevOps teams (developers, architects, product owners, business) to serve the platform’s requirements and ISO requirements to ensure that the security posture is in line with the risk appetite and threat landscape
• Conducting initial and ongoing formal assessments of information security risks related to vendors, determine the potential impact of those risks, and conduct follow-up on any necessary remediation efforts
• Developing a specialized knowledge of and key relationships with the local brand, ensuring that security is imbedded in each brand and that their security needs are being met. Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for implementing common security solutions

REQUIREMENTS

At Ahold Delhaize, you’ll be working for one of the biggest retailers in the world. You are bursting with the ambition to keep up with us. And specifically for this vacancy as a Business Security Advisor for the Cyber Security Office, you are skilled at communication, presentation and stakeholder management. You supplement these skills with

• Master or bachelor degree or equivalent technical training in Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Experience with security architecture such as cloud, mobile, enterprise, web and app security architecture
• Experience with security tests in place to fight off things like code execution, SQL injection and cross site scripting
• Experience with security in cloud computing and microservices architecture
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT and Information Security experience and you have the ability to act independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with security-related legal and regulatory requirementsDemonstrate specialized knowledge, including data protection methods, in at least one of the following areas and, as required,
• this expertise with other team members to facilitate ongoing activities – security architecture, web application security, mobile application security, security in SDLC, cloud security or network security
• Be a generalist specialist with a good breath of knowledge across several of security with deep expertise in 2 or 3 areas
• Good level in English, Dutch is optional but preferred
• Occasionally, you visit our other offices in the region. For example, our offices in Brussels, as business requires
